Hello, The California Department of Boating and Water ways is spraying a Herbicide by the trade name of 'Weeder', It really is 2,4-D. They are trying to control the water Hyacinth plant. It is the stuff from fish tanks that people flusehd down there toilets and survived the water treatment plant and are multiplying like crazy in the Delta. Well thease beer bellied STate workers are out in those everglade style swamp boats spraying close by my sailing spot and I am pissed. It turns out the state has been illegally doing this for a long time with out a permit. So an organization called Delta keeper busts them, and all that happens is they get a permit.
