Well, the National Kitesurfing Championship is Almost here, and to keep us abreast with all the goings on - the participants, the weather the  races and the partys P-Air, a seasoned kitesurfer and blogger will has agreed to be our correspondent!

For those of you who don’t yet know, 2008 kite-boarding Nationals take of on the 9th of June in the beautiful setting of Crissy Field in San Francisco.

You don’t necessarily need to participate to party! It sould be great watching to!

P-air has been having leaking problems lately with his 10m Bularoo and has run into trouble way off shore due to these leaks. he has been writing about this ongoing saga for quite some time, and I thought it would be important for me to bring to other Bularoo owners knowledge the fact (if they haven’t noticed themselves) that there is a serious problem with leakage on the kites, due to the fact that the plugs are really just a tad small for the valves.

I was looking around for an interesting place to go and surf and play and I came across a place in Florida called Stiltsville. Maybe you are familiar with it, but this was the first time for me.

The human mind is full of invention, and necessity is the mother of it all. Apparently it is a collection of houses, built entirely on stilts, and was (I quote)

Originally Stiltsville was built or imagined during the days of prohibition and Al Capone and rampant gambling.The law was that gambling was allowed provided that it was located a mile offshore. Stiltsville is located just over a mile offshore.

I think this would definitely be my dream place to go for a couple of days and when the wind is down I could sit and ponder on the wonders of the human mind.
