Board Hire at the Beach in Hawaii

I'm staying on Oahu, Maui and the Big Island this summer with my family.

I won't be sailing enough to justify hiring a board for the duration of the holiday but I would appreciate information on where I can hire kit by the day or half day at the beach.

I'm an intermediate and am looking for something like a 140L early planner (Techno, Carve 135, Ray 150 etc).

On Oahu I'll be staying in Kailua and assume I can still hire from the Naish van on the beach??

On Maui I'll be in Lahaina, but will be looking to sail anywhere including Kihei or the North Shore if it's not too rough for me!

On the Big Island I'll be staying in Hilo and Kona.

For Oahu there are three different vans at the beach in Kailua to choose from, they are there all day during the week and until 1pm on weekends. AKAIK there's nothing on the beach on Maui, but the shops will put soft racks on your rental and it's a short drive to Kanaha from Kahalui town. bs
