Hi i just got the C-Quad 6.3 with 30m lines. Was wondering if anyone had any useful tips or information on flying this thing. I'm flying it in the great lakes in Ontario, Canada. No board yet as i'm in flight training first but i need specific advice on water relaunching and what type of board to get. Any input would be great, thnx.

Hi!

Didn't try water use with that beast but after all I heard about it: forget it! I asked in my local kite shop (Yes - I trust them! Just bought a Kitesurfer XXL there). Two of the guys have tried it an mentioned it was nearly impossible to relaunch it from water. Even if it's just over kneedeep you have a fair chance for that manoeuver... Though it is a great kite for power use. I'm using it for buggying an for just to have fun ) You have to stear it more by the brake then the front lines. So you should alway have a LITTLE tension on them so that the trailing edge won't flap. The C-Quad is fast and pulls like a truck if you once find out how to fly it. But...I'm doing it for half a year now and it is still difficult for me to have constant power on the handles...

Have fun
