Hello.

I was wandering if Cabrinha 2001 Black Tip 3.6 would

be a good first quad line kite to learn with.

Answers greatly appreciated!

Hi,

better you don't waste the money on this kite you will never use it near a board unless in a cyclone. The best thing to do for your money if you have a kite school near you is put some money into lessons 3 or 4 hours at least, then buy a real 4 line kite. By the time you have finished 3 or 4 hours of lessons you will be able to handle a decent kite safely and know the basic do's and don'ts. Size depending on weight for a first REAL mid aspect 4 line 70-80 kg 12m flat, 80+ probably a 15m. This will give you the opportunity of getting up on a board and doing plenty of serious learning without having to buy and sell a baby trainer kite. The first kite you then buy you should have for a couple of years and be happy with.

have fun with the sport whatever you do )
