Another great day of racing. Kevin, Micha, Phil 1.2.3 I think.
I didn't realize that racing is so cool. You have to be ready for the long haul. We have run 7 courses in 2 days and there are 3 more days of racing to go. Holy shit, my hand might not hold up, not to mention my mental mettle.
The event is being run beautifully. The racers from Lowly spode like me to the top guys are so relaxed and friendly.
One thing of note today that I witnessed; A guy came in with a blow out pane on an NX 10.4. Bruce Peterson was on hand and did a field repair. It was great to watch the master work. As I was watching him I thought, 'Wow, there's the guy that designed and made these and here it is, helping a racer out in a pinch, look at him go!'
The sail was deriged, field dressed and re-rigged between races. I saw the guy get back on the water with time to spare for the next start.
Bill Kline also put on an excellent fin clinic near the main stage in the morning. He's super into it and committed to making sailing faster, more fun and enjoyable for spodes and stars alike. Thanks Bill!
I hated to interupt Jimmy D and Kevin P for a photo op but these guys took it in stride, got close and put on a big ass smile for the camera then got back to bench racing. all these guys are C-L-A-S-S. I'm living in a dream.

Oh yeah, Ellen was working her magic on one end of the event site getting folks hooked on the wind. Roger was somewhere deep in his van looking for the perfect something or other for someone. Good job!
Here are the rest of the pictures I took today. You might notice some familiar faces. I snapped one of Mark L in repose...
