Doing custom graphics on windsurfing boards

I'm an illustrator that has been windsurfing for 15 years and it is my first love! I work in a gray cube doing design work and want to get out of it!!! I want to paint illustrations and graphics onto windsurfing and surf boards.

If anyone has had success doing this and can send me instruction on what paints works best, sealers etc. I would be most grateful. And if I receive this advice and it works well for me I will pay the individual 1/2 of what I make on my first board that brings in a profit of $300.00 as a thank you!
