I own a 2001 85l. Seatrend wave board.

I usually use tha stick fin (23,5cm) with the 5.8 and 5.3.

I can jibe 50% in flat water and weight 63kg. and sometimes I think I would be more confortable with a smaller fin mainly with my 5.3.

What size should I buy? 21,5 / 22 / 22,5 ??? How should I calculate my fin quiver? By the way: I'm planning on buying a smaller sail soon (4,7 or 4,8)

I'd recommend this 22.9cm (9' wave fin for the size sails listed: http://www.surfingsports.com/product.asp? prod=taf_wdwave90-g It'll work great with your 85 liter wave board and won't get too big when you are on your smaller sails, because of the flex. Very turny for jibing, yet positive and fast in the straights. We've sent them all over the world.

Hi there,

I would suggest the Curtis B%J 24. Spinout is virtually non existant, it is fast, jibes well.

The difference is the better ride induced from clean outline and foil design.

Here in the Columbia Gorge these fins and the Surf 22 are very popular. The big jumps picturing Dale Cook of Sailworks in the current issue of Wind surf Mag feature a Curtis Surf 22. The Surf will work well for you in higher wind and in surf.

Dana Miller rides the Surf and B&J series here, on the coast, east and west.

You will get a great ride! Bill Kline Gorge Sport USA Curtis Performance Fins, Orca Fins, Orca Kite Fins Hood River, OR USA www.gsport.com ph/541 387 2649 fax/541 386 1715
