I heard the water level at Lake Isabella (California) is really low right now, and hinders windsurfing. Can anyone confirm or deny this! I want to go there this weekend but not if I can't sail.

I've also heard something about an expensive board registration policy there. What is the deal with that?

Many thanks!

it is low, but there is plenty of water left to play on. The wind is a little flukier, because it has to make it over the dam, then down to where you and your sail are. The Getto, a bit further downwind, is definitely the preferred spot

$20.- per board for the year does not seem exorbitant to me

I just got back from sailing Monday and Tuesday, ok just sailed Tuesday because I couldn't brave the cold on Monday. Plenty of water about 59F.
