I'm happy I started using landsailor this winter. After couple sessions on landsailor I can jibe sail very ease. I got duckjibe in one weekend! On Friday I got on water for first time this year. I try to jibe, and my hands switched sail automatically!

We have Mongoose All Terrain Boards (ATB's) suitable for land, beach, grass, sand... windsports with sail or kite: http://www.surfingsports.com/mongoose.asp We also have Gravity Longboard SK8 boards:http://www.surfingsports.com/Gravity.asp Both of these brands have boards, easily converted for sk8sailing. If you want to combine them with a kite, the 3.0m2 Airush trainer is the best deal going for a kite big enough to pull you on sand, snow, or whatever: http://www.surfingsports.com/airush1.asp?category=kite

Check out these 11 high quality sk8sailing pics shot by our staff photog on Oahu, Brian Kim, showing some cool moves:

Wow, you have some very affordable models there! Lemme think about it, I've been spending money lately like it's water, but those sure are decent prices.

I didn't know you had staff on Oahu. You got any openings?

I realize maybe you're just wanring me about driving, but I love driving in bad weather (except at rush hour). I'll decide Wed. a.m.

Hi Jerry!

I did almost same as Hans did. I got piece of plywood 10'x40', put on it wide (12'skateboard tracks, 76 mm wheels, and good bearings (Swiss Bones). With this setup + 6.5 sail I can 'landsail' with wind 3 knots. Try, you will love it!

Mine was more like 24' by 40' (though I don't know the exact dimensions). It was really wide, like a real board. Not as long as one,

Well then I hope you like driving in snow and ice. It's been snowing here in Dallas for two hours now (wasn't supposed to get here till late tonite). Forecast is for more of the same, and there's all kinds of winter weather watches/warnings for east of here. I'm kind of glad to be unemployed at the moment.
