I know that there are some guys who ride off of Lansing's Myers Park often. (http://www.c3gmbh.at/tinas_photogallery/cayugalake/ index.htm) While I can't find any communication about/from them online, I did find these pics. The launch there is perfect, and if I still lived in the area, I'd teach you myself.

In Western, NY, Bill Meyers runs Meyers Kite Shop (http://www.myerskitesurfing.com) and gives lessons on Lake Ontario (Wilson), and Lake Erie (Hamburg).

Did you find a place to take lessons I am also looking ?? It seems like a shame to drive to the cape when we have all the lakes here .
