Has anybody used either one of these for surfing yet? What are your impressions?

If you ever get the chance to fly a kite in a park with lots of wet grass (easy to find in Washington state), try it. I've been flying a 4.5m on short lines (20m, helps me keep it out of the trees and streetlights) and getting some seriously fun slides... 50-60ft or more, and FAST. Wear shoes that don't have too much tread. I've done this in a park in the middle of downtown Olympia, and it sure gets alot of lookers. Best way to stave off boredom after a long day at the office...

Hi!

YES...You're absolutely right! I'm flying a 6.3 C-Quad wearing a thing we call (hopefully translated correctly from german) 'butt leather'. Wiht that I'm sitting on the lawn an let the kite pull me...sometimes it get's really warm under me... It's FUN!!! Even more on hard sand on the beach at low tide...
