hi steve

- snowkiting; dont forget wolf behringer, germany, who kiteskiis with his 'parawings' since about mid/end eighties..

- kitesurfing... i tried to setup something in this direction in 1992, in summer 1993 i gave a tractionkite to laird hamilton, hawaii, for testings. unfortunately, as often, it was too early, 'market' was not ready for this.

- yes, annd of course, dont forget yourself - thanks for all your input

best greetings, tom jeckel (phoenix germany)

In 1991 or 1992, the brothers Treleaven were using a Vulcan to waterski in Melbourne, Oz.

Possibly the mad bugger in Perth (Neil Taylor http://members.iinet.net.au/~htlk/index.html) had done it before then.

Cheers, Gary B-)

A while back a documentary was on tv. I wasn't paying attention but it was about one of the guys that went to either the north or south pole and they had him on film. The film was really old and they had a shot of him with a parachute like kite dragging him along on skis to where ever the hell he was going. This would have been in the early 1900's. Sounds like kiteskiing to me.
