I only got my gear about 6 weeks ago, stood up for the 1st time 3 weeks ago, and last weekend, purely by flook I got about 2 meters of air of the back of a wave at Blouberg beach
YEEEHAAAAA!

Heya fellow Kitesurfer
Blouberg is really kewl huh ? when the clouds come over that mountain you know the shits gonna hit the fan and you gonna FLY !!! On a average day how many kitesurfers do you see there at the same time ? The last time i was there there mustve been btween 40-50 people surfing AT THE SAME TIME on blouberg ...
i have got lots of video of surfing in CT, would be kewl if i could stick it on a site somewhere

Its not just Blouberg-the Whole West Cape cost up to Langebaan is awesome for kitesurfing and Windsurfing- hundreds of Europeans escaping the Winter are all over Langebaan, Milnerton, Blouberg etc..guaranteed wind every day from November to April...but be warned-the wind really does pump in the afternoon- 35 knots and up..Which is perfect if you're like me- Kite in the Morning-Windsurf in the afternoon..!!
