Hi, looking to buy a windsurfer to share with my husband. He weighs about 100kilos and I weigh about 60k. We both are into the harness, but not footstraps. Winds here mainly light to moderate, and we not yet going out in anything above about a force 6. We wondering about the above, as a good compromose for us both. At present we have a Tiga Swift, and looking for somthing that will offer a bit more excitment! Thanks for any advice.

Veloce 328 is, if anything, less exiting than a Tiga Swift (I have owned both). Just the same, but bigger really.
Techno 293 would be better choice, but is not reputed to be a 'great' board (no personal experience). Starboard Go might be better choice.

Hi get neither!
If you must share a board, then get yourself a Techno 283. This is probably a good comprimise for your weight differential.
will float 100Kg.
Do get into those straps as soon as possible. There is a centre rear single strap setting on the Techno's. They are not visable through the deck pad, But if you press and run your finger along the centre line towards the rear, you will feel the isnert holes for the strap. This may help a little.
'force 6' is some nice wind.

Thanks for your help. Having a problem getting into straps, here we either have a force 2/3wind, or a 5/6, am so busy hanging on a gritting teeth in the later, that don't have time to get into the straps. But means I end up catapulting onto the front of the board from time to time!
Will have a look at the Techno 283 sounds good. Thanks

I have 328 and found the GO way easier to get into the straps. I loved the padded deck. Wish I had one as my first board instead of the 328. Tried the Techno 283 but preffered the GO. Eventually, I did get 'strapped' on the Veloce by putting a big 21' fin and 9.3 on it.
