I can imagine that it can be an advantage to be an experienced waterskier before one ties kitesurfing. But is it a necessity?

How do these to sports compare, the drag-angle from a kite being so different from a boat?

Waterskiieng and kitesurfing is not the same, not at all.

But Wakeboarding and surfing is very compareble with Kitesurfing, but again not !!

I know i did it all, i skii and wake alot and even fly trick-kites, but i had to learn it all over again.
