Does anyone else have dreams about windsurfing that involve frustration? Like last night, the nose my my fav OLD Seatrend was crunched..and I only had a bike to get to the launch and couldn't fit all my gear on my shoulders..Or another was not being able to get out to the water....I have NEVER planed in a dream..what does this mean??

Annie (who happens to be a counselor BTW!!..LOL)

No really nightmares, however last night I dreamed my back had stiffened up to the point I couldn't sail anymore. I kept dreaming stretching exercises. Believe it or not, my blankets were all messed up this morning.

I'm usually planing in my dreams, but the agony part is centered around trying to get the start while port tacking the fleet. Usually I'm a couple of seconds late and end up having to avoid crashing into all the other folks on the line that have rights over me.

This is my only recurring nightmare. I am always at a location where tons of people are ripping it up in great conditions, but events always conspire to keep me off the water. No booms, can't get sail rigged, don't have equipment, have wrong equipment, something broken, etc.

I have the enormous wave dream. I'm out sailing, at a beach, and then out of nowhere comes this huge wave. Not just 'huge' like double mast high, but HUGE like 60 ft or more, and breaking. Or else a group of 30 footers arrive on a light wind day when I'm on big gear. But it is always a wave. swamped,

Maybe you've never planed (in your dreams) 'cause you don't want to miss anything happening around you? Take Care Annie.
